Seamor ROV thruster modules and propellers are the power behind the Seamor ROV systems and allow for complete control at depth and in current. The thrusters are designed and built by Seamor Marine to be modular in design and interoperable on an underwater, inspection Seamor ROV. Each Seamor ROV is powered by two horizontal and two vertical thruster modules. The vertical thrusters are mounted at a 23º angle toward port and starboard for lateral movement of the ROV.

Propellers

Seamor Thruster Propellers are injection molded using ULTEM carbon fiber reinforced plastic. This yields a very light and stiff propeller resistant to chipping or breakage in the event it is jammed or impacted. The thruster propellers are also designed to self clean themselves of moderate debris.
