The Seamor 300F underwater ROV has an I-beam open frame which allows for a significant amount of flexibility when expanding the versatility of the system with additional tooling and scanning options. The fibre optic tether is also designed to offer additional communication channels so that the same tooling and scanning options are easily adaptable to new or existing Seamor 300F system. The Seamor fibre optic umbilical contains four power wires, two twisted pair for telemetry and sonar, and four multi-mode fibre optic strands – dedicated for forward camera and an aux camera with two for optional HD or DF sonar or other.

The Seamor 300F comes with a standard wring harness and an auxiliary wiring harness for options. The auxiliary harness includes the following but can be customized:

Manipulator 2-pin Sea Con connector
AUX 2-pin Sea Con connector
6-pin Sub Con Connector for a rear camera
8-pin Impulse connector for sonar. (Imagenex 852 or Tritech Micron standard)

Given the power, communication and mounting requirements and the connector specifications, it is possible for a Seamor ROV wiring harness and electronics canister to be customized to suite your specific working environment or tooling needs.
